"Vibrant Village Cow" on display on Prospect Street in La Jolla, Ca.

"Vibrant Village Cow" by Don D. Knapp and Denise Bonaimo

CowParade, the world's largest public art event, made it's California debut with CowParade La Jolla in the earlier part of 2009. The work of regional artists is being celebrated on 40 life-sized fiberglass cows.

"Vibrant Village Cow" has been sold to Mitchell and Alyce Lynn of Mission Hills, Ca.

Don Knapp was a selected San Diego artist. These pictures tell the story of how "Vibrant Village Cow" came into existence..
